Snowbox AS ("we", "our", or "us") operates the mobile app Hamlett ("the App") to help neighbors in condominiums share available parking spots. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Required Information:
- Email address – used to authenticate your account.
- Phone number – used for communication between users only when a parking spot is being shared/rented.
Optional Information:
- Name – you may choose to add your name, which will be visible to neighbors when your parking spot is being shared/rented.
The app collects basic data about the Condominium such as address, organization number, available parking spots and contact details of a member of its board.
We do not collect:
- Sensitive personal data such as financial, health, biometric, or precise location information.
- Passwords for authentication, since authentication is handled by a third-party provider (Firebase by Google).
- Payment-related data (such as credit card numbers), since our payments are handled by a third-party provider (Stripe).
2. How We Collect Information
We collect information:
- When you sign up to the App.
- When you update your profile in the "Me" section of the app.
3. Use of Information
We use your data to:
- Authenticate and authorize users.
- Enable and support parking spot sharing.
- Facilitate communication between neighbors during the parking spot sharing.
- Comply with legal obligations when required (e.g., Stripe's KYC process).
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Firebase (by Google)
- Handles user authentication via email and password.

- Used to process payments.
- Stripe may collect credit card information or other personal information as part of its payment or identity verification process (KYC – Know Your Customer).
- Hamlett does not store your financial information.

- Your data is stored in our backend, hosted on Microsoft Azure SQL.
- All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
- We follow security best practices to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure.
